HISTORY: PRIDE IN LAW’S NEW SOUTH WALES CHAPTER
On 20 March 2024, Pride in Law celebrated the launch of its New South Wales Chapter in the Banco Court of New South Wales. Chief Justice Andrew Bell SC provided the opening remarks while Justices Kirk and Weinstein provided the keynote addresses. The Hon. Michael Kirby AC CMG along with numerous other dignitaries attended this event to mark the opening of the refurbished Banco Court.
Since 2024, Pride in Law’s New South Wales Chapter have held networking events, made submissions to government and provided LGBTIQA+ visibility for the legal profession in New South Wales.
