HISTORY: PRIDE IN LAW’S VICTORIA CHAPTER

On 18 May 2023, Pride in Law launched its Victoria Chapter in the library of the Supreme Court of Victoria in Melbourne. The keynote speaker was Chief Justice Anne Ferguson of the Supreme Court of Victoria. An additional speech was delivered by Dr Matt Colins KC. Several dignitaries, judicial officers, and other legal professionals attended this sold-out event.

Since 2023, Pride in Law’s Victoria Chapter have held networking events, made submissions to government and provided LGBTIQA+ visibility for the legal profession in Victoria.
